The AUN Schools Academy, Yola, is seeking for a Boarding House Matron for her Boarding House. This position is a local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

Summary of Position:

The Boarding House Matron (BHM) creates residential environments that enhance student’s academic progress and success by promoting the intellectual life of the studentsThe BHM creates opportunities for students to explore and clarify their interests, values and attitudes. She Knows and abides by AUN Schools Academy policies including but not limited to the Fundamental Standard, preps, lifts out, student punctuality to events, Boarding house/ student policies, the Controlled Substances and school daily routine rules and regulations.

 

Requirements for the Position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences or any other related field.
  • Experience in working with students in a secondary school setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Experience in working with students in an academic setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and communication skills.
  • Minimal training and development skills.

  • Energetic people, strong personality, self-discipline, able to inspire the respect of strong-willed students.
  • Possession of excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.
