Assessment
& Reporting

The Assessment and reporting pattern at the institution is both diagnostic and systematic.

Students at AUN Academy are assessed in five different ways:

  • Continuous Assessment Tests
  • Assignments
  • Practicals
  • Examinations
  • Attitude and effort in the respective subject


This assists us to analyze the students’ individual subject concerns. the students' academic performance is constantly monitored by the academic office and guidance and Counselling office. Students who require extra support in any core subject area are put in the learning support program.

The parents of such students are notified through a letter from the school called early warning academic letter. The Academic Committee comprises the HOS, Vice Principal, Guidance /Counselor, and the Head of Department review results and students' performance.

As a Boarding and Day School, the Academy ensures that there is holistic development and that each student develops as a disciplined leader with international-mindedness.

Our International Program facilitates entrance into outstanding universities in Nigeria and around the globe. The AUN Academy Secondary which serves as a Cambridge International Examination Centre provides outstanding preparation for the following examinations:

  • IGCSE
  • and JAMB

The American program is designed to ensure acceptance within the best universities in America and the UK. It focuses on Advanced Placement studies that are critical for the requisite Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT I and SAT II).
